Mansfield Bio-Incubator is an open-concept equipped laboratory and office with benches in two shared labs as well as the private laboratory suites of 100, 300, 700, and 2700 square feet to rent.

The flexible layout provides the opportunities to meet the specific needs for each laboratory tenant with regards to the power requirements and installing large equipment. Laboratory spaces include 120V and 220V backup power outlets to ensure an uninterrupted operation of refrigeration, cryostorage, and other sensitive analytical or process equipment and laboratory experiments. Some suites include a private chemical hood. Infrastructure includes laboratory wastewater treatment capabilities and the disposal of hazardous waste.

Applications are now accepted for various membership packages that can be found here. The incubator occupies 26,000 square feet of a former manufacturing plant in the Boston Area. Notably, partially financed by Massachusetts Life Science Center Open Capital Program $2M Award, our 16,000 square feet Phase II expansion space opened on March 2022 is aiming to achieve net zero carbon emissions. The efficient ventilation within the newly built labs space aims to reduce the chance of COVID-19 exposure.
